Dussehra is ‘Anpuch Muhurat’? What is Dassehra (Vijaya Dashmi), when it occurs?
It occurs annually after Maha-Navami Parva ‘Maha Navratri’ in September or October. Regional-wise Dasahera (Dussehra) is considered an
auspicious ‘muhuratam’ which falls on the 10^th tenth day of Ashwin Masa Shukla Paksh. It is an ‘anpuchh muhurat lunar day’ for Hindus. It’s a time to begin an educational or artistic pursuits, especially for children. #

 

What is Durga Ashtami दुर्गाष्टमी?
Annually during the September or October in the Hindu Calendar Asvin Masa bright half ‘Shardiya Maha Navratri’ eight digit of the moon appears, ashtami prayers takes place. It also applies in month of March or April Ashtami tithi in Chaitra Masa when ‘Chaitriya Navratri’ happens.
On the both ashtamis mata’s havan pujan is done. Unmarried young girls are washed.

 शारदीय आश्विन नवरात्रि हर साल आश्विन मास​ के शुक्लपक्षकी प्रतिपदा तिथि से लेकर नवमी तिथी (नौ दिनों तक) विशेष स्थापना, स्तुति, पूजा की जाती है ।

नवमी तिथी तक नवदुर्गा (माँ दुर्गाजी के रूपकी) प्रतिमाओं की भक्तिमय ध्यान, पूजा-पाठ, व्रत-उपवास कीया जाता है ।
जप​, तप, साधन एवं देवीमाता का आराधन कीया जाता है ।
आश्विन शुक्लपक्षकी नवरात्रिको ‘महानवरात्रि’ भी कहा जाता है ।

एक वर्ष में कितने बार नवरात्रि पर्व आता है, इनका क्या महत्व है?
एक वर्ष में चार बार नवरात्रि पर्व आते हैं,
