Note : The order of the letters pronunciation exemplified related to above Sindhi Devanagri lipi, Sindhi and Sanskrit (Samskritam). The following are the Vowels, Consonants, Initial, Medial, Equivalents :-
1) AA, aa = ā. Ā ā in Lal, father read as (Lāl, fāther).
2) I, i = I in lily, Sindhu
3) Ī, ī in Laali, vaali (Laalī, vaalī) (Lāli, vāli)
4) N : n in not, nut.
5) ṇ ण ڻ : To be read as (ṇ Roman letter = Devanagri ण, Sindhi ڻ)
Veda-vaṇi to be pronounced (Veda-vāṇī). Also an example
In Advani – ण ڻ (e.g. Advaṇi, Panjwaṇi) to be pronounced correctly!
6.a) b ب : rub, but
6.b) bbe ब॒ ٻ : Bābani.
When we write word bolee – ‘boli’ (bolī), ‘byabhi’. One has to read as ब॒ .
7) ddē ड॒ ڏ : The word ‘dini’ compairing with above word ‘dindo’
then in this pronunciation one has to say ddē ( ड॒ ڏ ).
8) We have tried here to an extent to provide some letters knowledge. If anything is required to further enhance its any form, then, we will be happy and thankful to you; and also will step forward to improvise. Furthermore letters ڍال ڍي ḍhāl, ḍhē ढ ننڍِي ḍ; ٺي ṭhē ठ; ٽي ṭē ट; ٿي thē थ; ڀي bhē भ; s in sure, Sh in dhanush, r in and ri), and peculiar pronunciation
( ज॒ ڄ jjē = ddžē; ڱ ŋē = ngē ङ; ڳ ggē ग॒; ddāl, ddē ड॒ ڏال – ڏ ) may be touched in some other material.
Thus, reason for giving above material is to have a better, exact uchar of Sindhi language. The greatness of Sindhu civilization Mohan Jo Daro Harappa, its Saahitya, Sanskriti, Sabhyata, cultural importance is there. Therefore, preserving its sweetness, richness; it will be a small seva towards our boli – mother tongue taught by mother, guru and elders! Special thanks to our Māta Pitā Pujya Pushpadevi, Parsram R. Sharma & Pujya Satidevi, Prof.Ramchand K.Sharma in particular for this cause!
Jai Jhulelāl!!
