‘Mundan Sanskar’ (is a ‘Hair Cutting Ceremony puja’).
It is a ‘first time hair cutting of a baby’.
Baby’s ‘hairs of head’ are being cut.
Puja (Prayer) is performed for it.
Mundan Sanskar is a Hindu ritual. There are 16 sixteen sacred ceremonies. It is
one of the sanskar among Solah (Solaha Sanskar). It is also called Churakaram.
चूड़ाकर्म | चूड़ा Chudaa (Chuda) ‘Chauda-Chaulam’ Sanskrit word means
the ‘ceremony of tonsure’. In Sindhi it’s called Munhan (First Hair Cutting prayers).

मुन्हण संस्कार मुहूर्त एवं पूजा

संवत् २०८०-२०८१ शके १९४५-१९४६  (वर्ष २०२४-२०२५)

हिन्दू धर्म में १६ सोलह संस्कार किये जाते हैं । जिसमें से आठवां संस्कार है मुंडन संस्कार ।

जन्म के समय से जो बाल बच्चे के सिर पर होते हैं, उन्हें उतार दिया जाता है ।

कहीं कहीं पर मुंडनके समय सिर पर शिखा या चोटी भी रखी जाती है ।

मुण्डन-संस्कार करना कहा जाता है । मुंडन संस्कार की पूजा की जाती है ।

मुंडन को चूड़ा-कर्म संस्कार भी कहा जाता है ।

सिन्धी में इसको मुनण (मुन्हण) कहा जाता है ।

मुंडन संस्कार पूजा मुहूर्त (चूड़ाकर्म मुहूर्त – मुन्हण पूजा) एवं पूजा का शुभ मुहुर्त यहाँ दीया जा रहा है :-
