What is Pushya yoga and Guru Pushya Yog?
‘Pushya’ is the nakshatra having its highest role among Vedic nakshatram.
It’s treated as ‘Nakshatras Samraat’. It’s (constellation Delta Canceri).
Yoga means, the time combination, with its (nakshatra’s) presence.
Whereas, Guru is Guruvaar (Brihaspati-vaar). On this day, when
the Pushya is also present, then ‘Guru Pushya yog’ happens.
Hence, it’s significance depends on the ‘date’ when both the
‘Guru-vaar’ and ‘Nakshatra-Pushya’ are present together.

When a Guru Pushya Nakshatra Yoga occurs?
It occurs when both Guru-vaar and
Pushya-nakshatra is there.

What is significance of Guru Pushya Amrit Yoga?
It’s an auspicious Yoga.
Guru is Guruvaar (Thursday).
Another meaning is Guru is Deva-guru.
Being Dev-Guru, Brihaspati is Guru of Devtas.
Pushya Yog is time period of Nakshatra Pushya.
This yoga has its due importance in our Astrology.
It occurs on any of the given day on the ‘Guruwaar’.
Secondly constellation ‘Pushya’ presence is must on that day.
The yoga occurs on the day of Guru-Brihaspati-vaar is exalted one.
*Also important to note that ‘Hindu system of time calculation’ to be considered for it.
**Furthermore to note, it’s an auspicious and tremendous useful, except the wedding muhuratam.

Pushya Nakshatra Devta is Guru Brihaspati. It’s mantra is:
