What is the significance of Yamghant yog?
Do we observe in Bharat, Hong Kong and in other countries?
The Yamghant Yog is to check the presence of it at the arrival of a new born baby
(i.e. at baby birth time, day and nakshatra and its auspicious combination).
Yamghant is an astrological event; a combination of a day & a particular nakshtra on that day.
An ancient observance of the Yamghant yog is its ‘time duration and the nakshatra’.
Time span of ‘each day’ and a particular assigned ‘nakshatra’ on that day.
We know seven 7 days of a week are:
1. Sumar (Monday)
2. Mangal (Tuesday)
3. Budhar (Wednesday)
4. Vrihaspat (Thursday)
5. Jummo (Friday)
6. Chhanchhar (Saturday)
7. Aartwaar (Sunday)
There are seven 7 nakshatras (constellations) of yamghant yog (yamgand).
Any Panchanga or Sindhi Tipno yamganda information is provided.
The period at which it enters & departs decides yamghant yog.
With every new Sun rise, new day is taken in our astrology.
Nakshatra crucial point is about its start-end timings.
Each nakshatram has the four quadrants (4 parts).
And effect of each nakshatra & its quarter is there.
The Nakshatra Shanti pooja is being performed.
Prayers are conducted once same nakshatra
appears or on the 40th day after birth of child.
Sindhis observe it in India, HK & in overseas.

Who observes yamghant? And how and why?
It’s an astrological observance. It’s checked to arrive whether such yog is there.
One aspect of it is an astrological and another one is traditional and customary.
As per the Astrology it is being checked based on a nakshatra, a star at birth of a baby.

In absence of yamghant yog, no prayers are required.
Whereas, when yamghant is present, then it is prayed.
Hence, its further step is for its prayers (Yamghant Shanti Puja).
Yamghant Yog’ is observed by the Sindhi community. In particular if said combination occurs.
The baby born in the family, parents they observe ‘Yamghat Pooja’ for their new born.

When a yamghant yog occurs?
Which are the nakshatras of Yamghant Yog or ‘yamaghanta yoga’ or ‘yamganda yog’?
Yamghant yog occurs, when there are stars (nakshatras Magha, Visakha, Ardra, Moola, Kritika, Rohini and Hasta nakshatram). In the horoscope of an individual, or twin baby
born on the ‘
particular day’ on which these particular ‘nakshatra of yamghant’ is present, then that new born baby is called ‘yamghant born baby’. Accordingly, the respective prayers of the respectively assigned day and nakshatra is dedicated to the nakshatra devta. It’s being observed amongst Sindhis since ancient to this present time. It’s being observed following the astrology and traditional ritual prayers for each nakshatra shanti. It’s called ‘Yamghant Puja’, Yamghant Nakshatra Shanti.

Yes, some of the nakshatras they coincide with other yog; (i.e. at the birth time of the baby, when yamghant-
yog
यमघण्ट योग and nakshatra of sugna-yog सुग॒न योग and ‘Ganda-Moola yog nakshatram

born on that day and nakshatra,
combination is called ‘yamghanta’
. And the nakshatra Moola (Mula) is present there on any
given day of any week, then the
