DWADASA JYOTIRLINGA STOTRAM
In 2017 Monday Vrat (fast) of Shraavan – Sawan Somvar dates are 10th July, 17th, 24th, 31st and 7th August. On these days “even a mere chanting of Sri Rudra is highly efficacious.”Prayers of Rudram, Panchakshari – Om Namaha Shivaya and recitation of given twelve Jyotirlinga stotra is pious while performing Shiva Abhisek, Shiva Pooja. Rudra, daily recital is said to confer on the aspirant all blessings, material and spiritual.
Sri Shiva stuti (stotra) of 12 twelve Jyotirlingam. Bhagwan Shiva is associated with the twelve Jyotirlingam that we can see all across the country. And the positive energy of these Jyotirligam. द्वादश ज्योतिर्लिङ्गानि लघु स्तोत्रम् Dwādasa Jyotirlinga Laghu Stotram and the सम्पूर्ण स्तोत्रम् full version of stotra is composed by Śri Ādi Shankarāchārya. This stotram is in शुद्ध दॆवनागरी Samskritam. Simplified easy reading is compiled herewith. Following is the Laghu stotra which is given herewith in Devanagari, Sanskrit Text, Hindi, Romanized version, Sindhi boli and meaning in English related to twelve Jyotirlingas:
- Saurāstre Somanātham Cha Shrishaile Mallikārjunam; Ujjayinyaam Mahākālam-Omkaara-Mamaleshvaram.
- Paralyaam Vaidyanātham Cha Dākinyām Bhimāshankaram; Setubandhe Tu Rāmesham Nāgesham Dārukāvane.
- Vārānasyaam Tu Vishvesham Triyambakam Gautami-tatte; Himālaye Tu Kedāram Ghushmesham Cha Shivaalaye.
- Etaani Jyotirlingaani Saayam Praataha Patthen-Naraha; Sapta-Janma-Kritam Paapam Smarannena Vinashyati.
– At Saurāshtra, there is Somanatha Jyotirlinga and at Srishaila is the Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga; at Ujjayini is the Mahākāl (Mahākāleshwar) and at Omkar (Omkāreshwar) there is Mamaleshwara Jyotirlinga,
– At Parli, there is Vaidyanāth Jyotirlinga and at Dākini is the Bhimāshankar Jyotirlinga; at Setubandh is the Rāmesh (Rāmeshwaram) Jyotirling and at Dārukavan is the Nāgesh (Nāgeshwara) Jyotirlinga.
– At Vārānasi is the Vishwesha (Vishwanāth) Jyotirlinga, and at the bank of river Gautami (Godāvari) is the Tryambaka (Triyambakeshwara) Jyotirlinga, Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple, Nasik (Maharashtra).
– At Himālaya there is Kedār (Kedārnath) Jyotirlinga, at Shivālayā is the Ghushmesha (Grishneshwara) Jyotirlinga;
These Jyotirlingās, those persons who recites, meditates upon during the evenings and mornings,
will destroy the sins committed during the seven births.

सौराष्ट्रे सोमनाथं च श्रीशैले मल्लिकार्जुनम् । उज्जयिन्यां महाकालम् ॐ कारममलेश्वरम् ॥१॥
परल्यां वैद्यनाथं च डाकिन्यां भीमाशंकरम् । सेतुबंधे तु रामेशं नागेशं दारुकावने ॥२॥
वाराणस्यां तु विश्वेशं त्र्यंबकं गौतमीतटे । हिमालये तु केदारम् घुश्मेशं च शिवालये ॥३॥
एतानि ज्योतिर्लिङ्गानि सायं प्रातः पठेन्नरः । सप्तजन्मकृतं पापं स्मरणेन विनश्यति ॥४॥

In 2017 Shiva Somavar Pooja starts from Monday 10th July 2017 till the Poornima 7th August 2017 i.e. (This year five Monday i.e. 10th July, 17th July, 24th July, 31st July and 7th August 2017 is Shrāvana Shiva Somvār Puja. 7th August is the last Monday of Shravan. Dated 7th August there is Raksha Bandhan, Full Moon and Lunar eclipse in Bharat-India and Hong Kong). Hence, check the timings of the start of Shiva Shravan pooja (Monday Fast) as well as moon eclipse time.
